Id have to agree Frankenbike here. Aerodynamic testing is part of the design, i wouldnt think that the engineers are lacking that area. You just want a more jet looking car which is your personal preference. it doesnt mean that the current crop of cars are poory designed for their drag coefficents.

Actually you can see the shin guard. Yes its his ankle but there should be some protection around the ankles withe slide tackles. I remember having a pair hat had padding around the ankle.
