Didnt read the Dune books, never was enticed enough. Again, with the space navigator they look pretty freaky in the movie. What just makes it more horrifying is that they are humans. Its like people back in the day going to see a freak show now when I see images of space navigators.

As a kid I too hated ET. I was 5 when I went to see ET with my cousins and needless to say they thought it was funny (they are like 10-15 years older than me).

As a kid, watching dune and seeing the goddamn navigators freaked me out. Like really bad and totally creeped me out. The "pot marks" on the face are part of the reason that creeped me out so bad.
