I heard from a non-existent source that they requested their names be omitted from the credits to ensure future employment opportunities

So should I have already received an email on my win, or...?

IMO something being annoying isn’t really “toxic”

Too bad we’ll never hear a speech from a salty internet-nobody like you, I bet you’d show everyone how it’s done properly, champ!

One of the names I saw was literally just “S”. Also “Nobody”.

I hope they fix the maps and add fast travel. New lightsaber stuff is cool, but I would also like to know if I can reach this place from that place without running in circles for an hour!

Yuji Naka, anxiously sitting in a dark interrogation room in a cold sweat as his legal woes mount and the room closes in around him...

Hmm, I wonder how the government is convinced to set the tax rates and rules.

The objective was just weird to begin with. They’ve never demanded that people do the Master-level activity for weekly story progression. Not sure what they were thinking here.

The console ‘high-end GPU’ is still the equivalent to a mid-range laptop part and it’s priced cheaper because they know MS/Sony are going to shift X number of units...

Because this is a gaming site and the cost of gaming hardware is of interest to gamers, ergo the people reading this site for gaming related news.

Oof, not normally a commenter, but long time reader, this is just bad and in bad taste.

Are Kotaku writers like, required to add some political commentary to every article now?

You heard it here folks: liking Quidditch makes you “transphobic” lol.

Oh I’m not surprised in the least. Companies always do the bare minimum when to comes to security since the shareholders and/or owners have to be fed before anything else.  If it’s not a good ROI, they’ll skimp until something like this happens.

Yeah, Digital Foundry did a test, and with the drive they chose, the expansion drive was typically a little bit faster than the internal. Which surprised me, pleasantly.

That’s not what I’ve read. I have seen some data that suggests certain games even load faster on the expandable drive. I don’t want to go look for the article now, but that information should be readily accessible via google.

I’ve heard pre-orders are strong, but look up past sales yourself. A quick Google shows me that the entire Metroid series (15 games) has sold a total of a little over 18 millions copies. And since you bring it up I’ll use Pokémon as a comparison. Pokémon Sword & Shield on the Switch has sold around 22 million

I guess it depends on your perspective. Personally I love the side scrolling Metroid games, but compared to other flag ship titles the series as a whole has pretty weak sales. So the reality is the series hasn’t been a show stopper. It’s big for its fans, but has relatively little impact in general.

I hope Insomniac has a big bottle of Advil. Their back must be hurting bad from carrying the PS5 all by themselves.
