...Uh. You could sign up for it too. Took me like 17 seconds to register.

Reaffirms my decision to go with a PS5 and Switch for consoles and then a PC. There is so little reason for an Xbox to exist. Just build a modest gaming PC and you have basically an Xbox but all the utility and flexibility of the PC as well.
Saying they were going to add the rest this season, then waiting until 2 days after the season launched (and everyone bought their passes) to say “we actually decided months ago not to do what we said originally" is pretty scummy, at the very least.
The core gameplay is really enjoyable....
The thing about Destiny’s grind is that the game’s really only as grind-y as you want it to be: take this specific mechanic, for example. The point is to let you try for a certain weapon with a certain, specific bonus - like faster reload time after a headshot. You don’t ‘need’ that specific bonus to progress…
And throw you on the pile of internet commenters that know nothing about game development.
You make it sound like the devs had a plethora of time wasted on doing nothing, when I’m pretty sure a good amount of the staff was working crunch for extended periods of time trying to make the promised deadlines.
I like how you assume that implementing a polished, fully-functional third-person mode is somehow a trivial amount of work that the developers were just too lazy to do. I mean, it’s not like they were crunching for years just to ship the game with one camera perspective. Nope, gotta be laziness. Damn lazy devs!
My God, this. Sackboy deserves a lot more praise.
Again, I’m sorry, this game is NOT broken. Does it not run optimally on a base system, sure. Most of the big bugs were squashed in the first few patches and it even runs better now.
Those are gorgeous!
It’s amazing from an art direction and world scope perspective.
How’s Sackboy not on this list? It’s absolutely charming and really fun.
Also Sackboy.
The benefit of M$ current strategy is that they don’t have to keep reinventing the wheel. Sure both will have bugs, but nothing on the PS5 has been thoroughly tested until it’s out in the public.
I don’t own a gaming PC because I spent $1500 on my last one and it was outdated in less than two years
Yeah I was able to enjoy my PS5 for two hours before I started getting crashes that eventually got so bad that I can’t even use the thing; just sitting on the main menu will get me a crash within a couple minutes. I’ve rebuilt the database in safe mode and done a full factory reset but the problem only seems to be…
The same thing happened with the original games and they both did fine
lol Definitely not, unless you’re expecting several years of delay.
