My son had me read that - I’m not really a fan of manga and comics - and it was surprisingly entertaining. Very interesting concept put into a visual medium that was really cool. It definitely was fun, though I think it got out of hand toward the end and kind of resolved too quickly in too large a manner.

Actually that does sound preachy, being vegan has absolutely nothing to do with being thin or fit. Not saying this as a “Me MAN, Me eat MEAT!” thing, because having proper amounts of protein is required to be healthy, whether you get it from lentils, nuts, and soybean, or from various animal parts (muscle, organ, egg)…
