Sure they,re cool. Delorean thought so too. But it is an engineering, production, cost and later warranty nightmare.

They are screwed. The stock is tanking already; this announcement along with continuing delivery problems will further reduce their capitalization. They are likely to miss their delivery targets for the quarter.
Wow. Pretty funny, but his girl is conservative and that was the third date. Likely his “falcoln wing doors” did’nt work, he’s blaming his lack of relations on some jealous homeless person.
Ford made that argument when they announced no Ranger. With the success of GM’s 3 truck strategy they have changed their tune. The Grand Cherokee has the right formula with unibody and independent rear end. Won’t work with Colorado, they need to start from scratch. Could be good, done right with a diesel.
It looks like any early Kia Sportage. Fine for Aisian markets.
The difference is unlike Nissan, GM has the good taste not to stink up U.S. roads with it.
Chevy could use a competitor for the Grand Cherokee, that should not be it.
GM did not get debt forgiveness. The Government agreed to take stock in the reorganized company and made ther own decision to sell at a small loss. After the DOJ fine the Goverment recouped almost all their “losses” This saved not only GM and Chrysler but the supplier base and Ford as well. Unemployment benefits and…
Tesla would not exist without continuing huge Government subsidies.
Musk can’t seem to build it either. His insistence on going with the Falcon wing door is leading to production problems, order cancellations, missed production estimates and likely bankruptcy down the road.
He’s can’t deliver Model X with the Falcon Wing door problems so that’s one less to worry about.
Your Tacoma gets marginally better mileage than a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade
They could have showed a photo of the Volt line or Malibu Hybrid or New Cruze. You can’t blame GM for also going where the money is just like Mercedes, BMW, Lexus Lan Rover et. all.
Gotta say nobody does it better than the Ferrari uniforms, but this guy is fine. Would you prefer some poor bastard in Japan or Korea in a white jumpsuit?
Easy there, I love my Alfa Romeo’s, Fiats and Jeeps. For me, never and out of warranty repair on any of them. Ok, the Alfas are 40+ yrs old, so probably everything has been replaced.
Rough month. Lot’s of Takata airbag problems now this. Could be a robot gone rogue.
More evidence that Toyota has problem vehicles like everyone else. 22Re, 3.0 now 4.0 (piston slap), Camry’s with oil sludge issues.
Another Toyota built car bites the dust. Turns out they have problems and lemons like everyone else.
