I think the new Civic looks fine, certainly a better car than the Corolla.

Yeah, you nailed it. Zen like experience that’s just plain fun. I use my Lincoln 120v mig for floor boards and SS exhaust. Next, aluminum.
Unfortunate. Still an awesome car.
But, does it have to be so ugly? Time to loose that “spindle” grille.
The new Altima is a POS. Uncomfortable seating and CVT transmission. They do discount the hell out of them though.
Camrys are way uglier with less comfortable seating and poor performance. Yet they sell a ton. Some folks are just looking for cheap tranportation.
I too, rented one and drove it from San Diego to Seattle. Super comfortable and really delivered on the mileage. Computer showed 36 mpg at 75mph. Seats much more comfortable than Camry. Great car for families, hell of deal with the money they are throwing on the hood to clear out for the New one.
Biggest problem is Toyota doesn’t think they need to spend the money to update the truck. Same wheezy 4cyl, drum brakes, same chassis and frame. Full size trucks get better mileage. After watching the “crawl control” video, don’t think that’s gonna do it for them.
Toyota seems to have learned their lesson after the 1.2 billion fine for not responding to the unintended acceleration situation.
Nearly all reviews of the “New” Taco have placed it behind the GM twins.
Good catch. (damn you private school education!)
Trumps says: “Those fightin words bro”!
We don’t know if Toyota recognized the problem or was forced to recall. Nobody is messing around with safety problems anymore.
Unfortunate. Toyota, turns out your just like everyone else!
You are also correct sir.
Duh!, You are correct as is Andrew. Exhaust drives the turbo.
Isn’t the turbo on the intake side, then combustion; exhaust then emission controls?
“Right after the turbocharger, emissions gases go through a diesel oxidation catalyst which uses chemicals to break down the fumes to reduce their toxicity.”
Maybe they’ll reclaim some customers that defected to Lexus that still want to float down the road. Certainly not the direction of the New Cadillac. Folks paying this $ want rear will drive. Fail. Is Lincoln gaining to settle on a design language for the front end? Bentley is pissed about this one!
Sounds good. I’ve been looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel. The VM Motori diesel is robust, but heard some are having problems with emission control. Good to know lifetime warranty available on the diesel.
