0-to-xMPH-to-0 is not very interesting.
In slower news, after 21 years of 2nd gen, Toyota announced new Toyota Century.
You make good stuff, people gonna copy!
Also, that tweet says the lambo owner forgave the taxi driver’s debt, which is nice.
One time I was driving around, my gas light came on, and I got gas.
the dude you try to scam is an attorney.
If my neighbor parked a tank on the street, the only one who would get tired of anything would be the owner who would get tired of me knocking on his door, begging him to let me drive his tank.
I’d think if it wasn’t currently powered, it would be at 100% reserve. Just bristling with all of the available torques, ready for torquing.
Nobody is buying an F-450 to not use it for work.
I can understand that for $100k you might prefer some other vehicle, but don’t pretend that it will have anywhere near the same capacity. That F450 up top is rated for 3 times the towing capacity of the GLS550 you want.
You both do realize that a person buying an F450 is someone towing a 5th wheel or pulling something else massive. As shown for almost $20k less you can get an F250 with the same luxury treatment. Honestly, Toyota has some of the most daring designs in auto-dom right now. And I generally like it (even the spindle grille in most applications, sue me).
It’s official, Toyota is a less-boring-than-average car company: the 86, MKV Supra, LC500, IS/RC, this less-beige Camry. And since all major car makers are boring now, my hat is off.
that might be exactly -why- he was calm though. lol.
Panicking and making a ton of noise is only going to make whatever wildlife it is, more aggressive and defensive, and more likely to bite/claw.
As the article alludes to, the ridiculous hourly rate isn’t going to the mechanics. The dealership is pocketing the majority of it, and when they raise the rate from $95 to that $125, only ~$3 is going to the mechanic. The other 90% is going to the dealer’s profit.
