Holy depreciation batman.
Holy depreciation batman.
The Defenders that were seized were legal. That’s the problem. For example, the feds seized a 1984 Defender, in 2014. That’s a 30 year old car, which makes it well within legal age. Also, if you read the full article you’d know the lawyer in this case got paid the grand sum of $0.
Please go back and re-read the original stories about the case. These land rovers WERE older than 25 years. The feds just didn’t reference the correct VIN database when putting together their list. This is 100% government idiocy and 0% consumer ignorance.
Between this and the Sepp Blatter resignation news, today is a good day.
I love my 2013 LC as I often wax poetic about it on Jalopnik. However I think it’s a little too early for the refresh cycle for US-based models but you can bet I’ll be looking at the new one when it shows up.
I would’t mind giving it a try.
Well yeah I’ve been watching this gif for 5 mins and they haven’t made any progress. They just keep going back and forth, back and forth.
And how exactly is an M3 a midsized car again ?
I have a plan. Two more years of DD duties, then retire it, turn it into a monster and buy a 2017 Focus RS.
Minneapolis is a seriously, seriously underrated city that doesn’t get enough national love.
If by North Loop do you mean North of 694? If so they pretty much hand out guns as part of the Welcome to the Neighborhood Basket. If you are talking about Nordeast Minneapolis, absolutely the most hipster/hippie conflagration I have seen outside of San Francisco. But they do have a lot of fun Breweries, restaurants,…
I’ve been going to Minneapolis once every 2 months for the past year and Minnesota still confuses me. I stay in the North Loop for 1-2 weeks each time, so I’m in one of the most liberal neighborhoods in the city. But what about the dudes who are ice fishing in a tent with Beer 30 near the Canadian border? Do those…
I would argue that Minnesota is far from even the top 25 of the “freedomest of states” yet we also do not have an annual inspection required for motor vehicles.
I know everyone always posts V10 S6s, but there is also the biturbo V8 RS6 lurking in this price range. Yes, they were all automatics, but I’m looking for a DD. AWD means I have a four season DD too. Wheel arches and oval exhaust give enough of a hint that this isn’t a normal car.
Yes, this is tacky, but it’s not the ugliest car in production today. Everything from the Altima down in the Nissan family looks like a Friday afternoon sheet metal assignment from the boys at the local community college.
And yet, I would still rather drive a camry hybrid than a prius two.
Sorry, the QX80 is uglier still:
I bet the H2R rider is having more fear*
I bet the H2R rider is having more fun.
