Last time I checked, credit card companies like to hand out credit cards to college students like candy. It’s lowkey the best time to get a credit card with no credit.

You never know what’s in the snowbank. But it’s still true that the snowbank generally won’t try and sue afterwards. I’ve used the snowbank twice in my snow driving career. And both times have left no damage on my car.

THIS. Seriously, stay home. If it snows enough to the point where you really have to work to get to work, just stay home. Most jobs will understand. It’s not worth trying to get to work just to get stuck and have to wait 2-4 hours to get unstuck.

Get the Hakkapeliitta if you can. Otherwise, depending on what kind of car these are going on, I’d probably go with the X-Ice. Those typically end up behaving like a normal tire but in the snow and ice. They’re also relatively quiet for a winter tire.

Am I the only one who wishes the video was longer?

That’s not really the same. That’s a permissions dialog asking if the game can use a resource. Completely different from Windows telling you it’s about to restart or show you other random notifications.

Maserati GranTurismo and Bentley Continental GT/Flying Spur. Those things have aged insanely well. They sell pretty much the same thing right now!

This. While 365 keeps on getting new features and changes, 2019 stays the same, feature wise, until the next version release.

Seriously. Where?!

Not MN. They issue them normal plates that are indistinguishable from other ones.

This is happening in my city as well! It’s completely evil and genius at the same time. I personally don’t like it, but I’m always impressed whenever see them simply because the effect works very well.

Definitely in a situation where they’re tailgating it would definitely help. I know it’s helped me numerous times. Same as coming up behind them.

Unfortunately, with all these tale signs you’re pointing out, by the time you notice them, it’s too late. The car has to be pretty close for you to notice them. Long gone are the days where you could identify a cop from a nice distance.

Sounds like you had a lemon. I know a few 560SEL owners without issues. But then again, these are very old now and a lot of stuff ends up needing to be replaced because of age and not inherently because of failure (but then again, these things are approaching 27 years old).

I believe all German manufacturers at that time period sold all their cars with “lifetime” trannies. My C6 A6 has one of those and even after 180k+ miles I haven’t had any issues with it, knock on wood. But there are others with horror stories about them going bad. So I guess it’s one of those things that will either

These C-Classes are actually pretty good, so I wouldn’t really worry too much as long as it checks out. Not much to break in them and they’re relatively pretty simple. Maintenance and gas will be slightly more, but that’s the case with any premium vehicle.

When I started riding motorcycles this is the one thing that really threw me off. The amount of slipping you do is unreal, yet perfectly normal especially since a lot of sport bikes seem to hate anything under 20mph. It just doesn’t feel right - until you get used to it.

I don’t know about Honda, but other manufacturers either turn off the features completely or warn you about them being ineffective when certain conditions are met. For example if it’s raining or snowing, most Lexus vehicles will turn off lane departure and lane keep assists (they’ll show up as unavailable). Or when

Why did I not know about this site? Thanks!

I think he was referring to Brake Hold. As you come to a stop in traffic your E-Brake us auto engaged this way you can take your foot of the brakes. And then when you push the accelerator they auto disengage. It’s a pretty sweet feature that I use all the time at stop lights but it sucks in traffic so I turn it off
