@ZenInsight: engines such as unreal or cry engine can produce equally good/significantly better visuals with just a 9800gt, 3 gigs of ram, and a cheap core 2 duo. making such high requirements for something of such low quality for the said requirements would mean the developers have done a terrible job of optimization

@TheRuiner: because it'll be significantly cheaper for the consumer if it's well optimized, you don't want it to play like crap unless you have a $4000 rig do you?
