If you are my best friend (and you might well be! I know many of my friends are on here)—don’t worry, I’m not going to. I know you know.
Haha Fat People amirite?
We really need a push for much stiffer penalties for law enforcement officers. If I am punished to a higher level for crimes against them then surely they should be held to a higher standard of penalty for their criminal acts when on duty, in uniform, or in the interest of their brethren.
Fortunately, unlike Wario, Ted is not a-gonna win.
I thought it was “defroster on high, wait till there’s a 3” hole in the ice, drive away scrunching your neck down so you can (barely) see out the 3” clearing...
Yeah maybe I’m a big dumb idiot but this video deals with defogging. Defrosting, which I deal with daily for several months up here in the north, definitely doesn’t work this way.
My experience, the best way to defrost your windshield is to start driving right away while you can’t see anything. Roll your window down…
EXCEPT FOR THESE GUNS!!!
She wasn’t asking for a cookie. She was saying that thanks to PLANNED PARENTHOOD, she has not had an unplanned pregnancy. She was a sexually active teen in a very religious household and she was still able to get important services that prevent pregnancy thanks to PP. She wasn’t patting herself on the back, she was…
I think she’s saying that she likely wouldn’t be as wildly successful at 25 had she gotten pregnant when she was a sexually active teenager and young adult, and the avoidance of such a pregnancy was due, at least in some part, to Planned Parenthood.
I very nearly ended my comment with “this website is only really useful if you want to make sure the white people you meet are as racist as you”.
Cheetahs have amazing spatial intelligence but I sure as shit wouldn’t take one’s opinions on politics very seriously.
In my opinion he looks much better with a beard than without one. His face is too skinny with too many pointy bits to look good without one.
I’ve seriously considered walking around with a picture of FDR in his wheelchair to pull out when someone starts talking about not vaccinating their children like “See this? This is what vaccines help prevent. Stop being stupid.”
That’s fine and dandy that you just don’t like sugar, (though I don’t think she’s being quite so literal with the cake thing), but I feel obligated to say that what the bathroom scale says is no indication of whether or not a person has an eating disorder. (I’m not saying that you do, of course, but that in general…
I’m also in recovery, and likewise need to avoid lifestyle diets. I can do “I’m going to try to eat more vegetables” or “I’m going to try to eat less fast food” but anything that declares specific foods off limits tends to get me into trouble.
I certainly did that. In college I’d waver between bulimia and what is now called orthorexia. And now, 10 years later, having ballooned up I really struggle with starting a “clean eating” plan. Over a decade of bulimia has caught up to me and it’s really hard to stick to my nutritionist’s plan. It is so very hard to…
I find it interesting that Clean eating is a trend more in countries in with junk food and obesity is high ( also because of the absence of food culture and cooking). It’s also a way of signalling something on your social class, as the rate of obesity are the highest among poors.
Without making blanket statements about diet trends I can absolutely confirm that some people with serious eating disorders use restrictive dieting practices to mask or deny their illness. They are not always even aware that they’re suffering from a disorder.
Winnie the Pooh did it better.
