What bothers me is that as a country we won’t legalise euthanasia to allow him a peaceful death, but we’ll withdraw life support so he basically suffocates to death in front of his parents.

Unfortunately these comments from the parents make me think a civil lawsuit against the hospital is on it’s way, given what they have said about it being “too late”. It was always too late, but now a world renowned children’s hospital will be left paying off huge legal bills because of this selfishness.
