I first saw that pad for Speed Stacks, the cup stacking game. I think its standard these days because the time starts when your hands come off the pad and stop when they are back on it. Pretty fair way to access times.

Maybe he has done it faster but not recorded. WR’s only count when its done in an official set-up. Also the computer randomizes the cube for them, which plays into timing.

Only on replays do the spectators see the online. Just like how they ghosted the camera a little to show enemy movement. Thats not an in-game mechanic.

Not to my knowledge. I play on 3DS and since the patch to fix the freeze i have yet to experience any problems I did in the past...I.E. Invisible bosses, frozen games, no sound.
