Poor Bruce. No love. Is his name that hard to remember? You guys covered her for an entire year and he was with her most of the time!
Ah, makes sense. Thank you.
On top of all those great people, they are ADDING Hayley Atwell and Shea?! That is freaking awesome. Somebody remind me what happened to Renner?
a..hu hu hu huughh huuggghh
I know this is a regular feature ... but perhaps a little tone deaf THIS particular weekend?
I’m all over this. That cast is outstanding, particularly because most of them have proven the look good in older decades (Root, Corrdy in Mrs. Maisel, Shea in Boardwalk). But I have to say it is pretty hilarious to cast the guy who played George Hodel in “I Am the Night” to play the coroner here. Well played.
Dude, come on. Sorkin wrote it. And he is God.
I’m not sure he even cares anymore. By that I mean he would gladly plead guilty and expose the corruption that destroyed his company. HE has nothing left to lose, and besides -- we always know Chris Cooper tells the truth on the stand!
Yes, it does make her more believable.
Yes, they were all around :30 as well. And I think you’re right, because S1 had us always believing that physical harm may come to Julia Roberts and Shea’s race against time.
Thank you Alex for the recaps. I thought the finale was OUTSTANDING. One of the things we have to remember is that Leonard is NOT out of legal liability. He’s still vulnerable to a class action if Walter goes on tour to tell the other soldiers what happened to them in a Season 3, which I would think would be the plot…
I’m glad to hear. I worried a little bit that going from 10 episodes down to 7 may have meant this wasn’t going to be a long running show. Even 3 seasons isn’t long, but I feel like there is story room for a season 3. But we need Shea back!
As a general rule, I usually hate episodes in ensemble shows that are dedicated to 1 character (e.g. CJ goes home to visit her ailing father and hit a high school reunion on West Wing). ... this one was no exception. I want the whole crew involved!!
I wish I could chuckle along. But I just can’t. It’s been 4 year’s of TAD (Trump Anxiety Disorder). And this doesn’t even involve him!
Democracy is at fucking death’s door. This is truly frightening.
This episode was fantastic. And we were right! She did blow it with military vocabulary!! Stephen James is incredible, by the way. I hope we start to see him in a lot more projects.
My least favorite so far. But I can see an endgame now. I still agree with the other viewer who wrote that Alex (as Jackie) likely has likely said something inaccurate from a military perspective and Walter jumps on it.
I still want to know what the exciting payroll project was.
Yeah, didn’t we kind of know from the scene with the harassed employee that she’s a schemer and not a hero?
