Cliffhanger may have been the wrong term. But something that kind of let’s you know what’s next? ... but I guess we all know what comes next -- The War. So now I just feel dumb for that part of my comment.

Eh... feels like I just saw the whole movie. Does it think it’s the modern day “Duel,” only this time we get to meet the antagonist?
I did NOT see Fiona’s death coming. I didn’t think the show would go that dark, and instead assumed they would remain in only “semi-tension” and whimsy. More camp. Less ...uh, this. Boy was I wrong! I certainly don’t want to see either of our “heros (?)“ go to jail. But they certainly are guilty of at least…
Oh, I’m 49.
It’s a fair point and I feel like I have “matured” on their recommendations since my knee-jerk initial reaction. After all, as one reader also suggested, I’ve got plenty of 24-hour periods in my life where I can watch what I want to.
I am torn. We had to fast forward and not watch, but at the same time wasn’t this even more a reality for women of that time than even today? So perhaps we need to be more accepting of how common it may have been? Also, as a man, I have a bigger problem feeling like I have any right to say, “Ok, we GET IT!!”…
Sam, what’s wrong with the show / movie reunions? You don’t think they are fun and entertaining for those of us who were fans of those movies or shows? If you didn’t watch the show, you don’t have to watch the reunion. Jeez, don’t be a dick.
I don’t know if you guys heard, but Bryce Walker got elected to Congress. He goes by Matt Gaetz now.
We live in a Spectrum cable area and enjoyed Season 1. Gabby Union is playing her character from Bad Boys II. She’s switched from being DEA to being an L.A. Cop. So it’s kind of a spinoff. It’s a little schlockey, but we liked their chemistry and the overall story is good. They do switch police captains right after…
Brisk, hour long walks for exercise. (fully masked) followed by a little house cleaning, and PLENTY of viewing. We’re balancing #blackAF, Never Have I Ever, Penny Dreadful, Billions, After Life, Killing Eve, Dead to Me, and Hollywood right now.... so needless to say, we have a lot of time on our hands and are viewing…
Dan, can you give us the minute marker for this so we don’t have to listen to the whole pod?
You know who HATES John Hughes movies? My mom was a teacher for 26 years and she said every generation of ADMINISTRATION employees couldn’t even hear “John Hughes” without getting hot. When you think about it -- he’s horrible about principles, etc.
THAT’S the role you remember him for? Not O’ Brother or the numerous roles where he’s played a henchman? ... Okaaaaay. :)
I guess I picked the right week to never start watching AHS.
This is just 1 of the reasons there shouldn’t be Billionaires. I’m all for whimsy, but this is downright eccentricity run amok.
Really? Nobody made a Chinese Democracy joke in the COVID era we’re living in? #MissedOpportunity
Thank you. A brief but solid answer topped off with excellent online etiquette. A- (... just kidding. That’s an inside joke with myself regarding AV Club giving perfect episodes an A-)
Wait, was Claire taken for being Dr. Rawlings? ... or because Jamie turned down the Native-hunting Browns?
This is an incredibly nit-picky and unnecessarily critical review of one of what I saw as a most enjoyable episode. C’mon. Fiona ACTUALLY jumps!? Now we get some “off the beaten path” action to come? What’s wrong with you, Vikram? Who hurt you that you can’t enjoy this?
Michael C. Hall IS a very nice guy. I’ve met him too.
