The only person I know DEFINITELY began unraveling the New Deal was Reagan. How the Wallace maneuver has anything to do with Truman “unraveling the New Deal” I don’t know. I know Truman was flawed, to say the least. But Hell, Eisenhower hasn’t even really been accused of “unraveling” the New Deal. 

Are you serious about Truman? The man expanded Social Security. I have an open mind — but you’ll need to give me some examples (besides the National Security Act. Because if that’s your only example, I think I get where you are coming from).
