We had our own quick assemble housing on this side of the Atlantic. Look up Lustron Homes. The whole house was steel. Even the walls and ceilings. I rented one in Madison, WI for a bit. Surprisingly spacious! Hanging up art and photos on the wall was a bit of a pain though.

Loud Bicycle Horn

The shy kid in the front seat is his son. I was at that shoot when they showed up. The kid was so cute and Steve was damn nice.

It doesn't require everyone to switch. That's not an option for many. But even if a few switch, there's a difference. This video is kind of a good example.

How was this the bicycle rider's fault? They were as far right as possible. This was the fault of an inexperienced motorcyclist.

I'm so happy to see these alternative transportation stories from Alissa pop up on here. They are well written and well researched. (As a bonus, she's a fellow car-free LA East Sider!) I always try to avoid reading the comments when one of her articles pop up because of the absolute hatred that people post about

I know. Every single person out there on a bicycle disobeys the laws.

This is why I like Spotify better. The Radio feature is usually pretty good. And when it's not, there are enough apps to install that nail it. Moodagent is pretty good for picking out songs with the same kind of feeling.

It made you play ET? Oh god the humanity!! That truly was an insidious worm.

Perfect? Not at all. But the addition of a snap on battery (that also serves as a stylus holder and gives the keyboard a

I don't know about Android or WP, but I know that Google Maps on iPhone have the ability to show you all of the bike routes where you are. As well as bike directions. I've found it very handy.

I was also missing the radio feature. I love waking up to NPR stations and laying around in bed for a bit listening to the news for the day. I finally found an iPhone app that will stream a radio station. http://beautifulclockradio.com/ So KCRW starts playing on my phone no matter where I am. Not the greatest designed

I switched to ST from ATT. I was out of contract and my iPhone4 (since sold it on ebay and bought a 4S for less than what I sold the 4 for) was working just fine so I just hopped over. It's not perfect but then neither was ATT. Some quirks I've had to deal with:

Check out Leif Erickson Park in Duluth, MN. Gorgeous park with amazing views of Lake Superior.

Stop being so negative. Try to be positive.

The last place I lived in gave me 3 keys to my apartment door but only key to the building's front door and that key was marked "do not copy". The hardware store near my house had one of those do-it-yourself key making machines. Problem solved.

So I clicked the link to see more pics and there just aren't any physical buttons at all. No volume. No silence. No power. From the internal pics you can kind of see where the buttons would be which makes me wonder if since it's plastic, they're opting to use the flexibility of the plastic instead of buttons? That
