These pop up on Fab all the time. They're neat but they're not actual maps. Most are "idealized" transit maps. Look at the LA one for proof.

I think they're looking at how half the android market is filled with utter crap and they don't want to W8 to fall victim to that. For that I salute them.

I should have posted "And that's why you never turn your cell phone on during departure and landing."

No... you see... I was... LOOK! SOMETHING SHINY!

Google was going to use the sony system but it's a proprietary system that only works with sony buildings.

Obviously it was caused by this person using their phone during landing.

Looking at their site, they have both a flex shank and a stiff shank. If you want to both walk and bike with these shoes, I'd go with the shoes that offer a flex shank. or why not just get some toe-clips or pedal straps?

When the quality of Amazon streaming picks up then maybe. I'm a Prime member and I do use it the streaming once in a while, but the quality is never as good as my Netflix stream and I average about 25mbps. I assume you're talking about using the Square app. (some commenters on here are talking about handing over a CC to a square using merchant) I like the Square app. I like not having to hand over a card and having the receipt automatically emailed to me. A few shops are using the app to offer rewards for frequent

Agree with you and completely disagree with the author of this article. You know what's nice about having transit info on Google Maps? It's the same damn app no matter what city I'm in. The maps look the same. The way I operate the app is the same. I don't have to try to find an app for a city that has probably named

And if you're in a new city, you may not have access to a transit map nor do you want to carry it around. Even if I'm in my own city, if I head off to an area I don't visit often, I don't need to carry a new transit map for that one area. I just need to get ready to leave and find out what bus/train to take. Also,

Agreed. If you're in the city, you pretty much rely on those transit directions to get about.

My contract with ATT ends in Nov and I'm perfectly fine with my iPhone4 so I'm in no rush to swap it out. Looking to switch to this as well. So far from what I've read, it's good service. Yeah, it sucks that it's Walmart, but is ATT or Verizon any better?
