That’s a great way to describe it. Lots of interesting characters, not always a lot for them to do. Loved the cast, really enjoyed the first two seasons and part of the third one, hated the ending. Eva Green and Timothy Dalton were especially awesome.

I agree with you, I typed something akin to it in a reply higher up the thread. Even though I’ve loved some of the snarky D-level reviews that appear on this site, the best ones also examine what went wrong, any potential bright spots, and opportunities for improvement.

If you do end up getting Showtime back, I recommend “Yellowjackets” “Penny Dreadful” “Patrick Melrose” and the new “Man Who Fell to Earth” looks good but I’ve yet to see it.

the director was off drinking a Bier or two.

I don’t agree with her argument that critics serve no purpose, but I do kind of agree with her second part:

I’m kind of with West on this one. While it seems similar to “The Crown” upsetting a bunch of British royals, their gripe seems to be more that some show would have the temerity to reveal a bunch of negative stuff about British royalty, and reveal that they’re actually *gasp* bad people. Whereas HBO did a patently

One of my favorite masked wrestlers, Mil Muertes/Ricky Banderas is Puerto Rican, but from my understanding he wears the mask and adopts the character when he’s wrestling in Mexican promotions and when he’s in Puerto Rico he wrestles under his other pseudonyms. Anyway, as a question, would you prefer if they altered El

I agree with Kennyabjr that it is just a matter of time. Tom Holland has been doing a great job with Peter Parker and he’s cropped up in a bunch of films outside of just the Homecoming/Far From Home/No Way Home trilogy. Spider-Man has always been a very overexposed character, with tons of different comics/shows/movies

I agree with you that the article was wrong in saying Morbius wasn’t exactly widely known. He’s been around for a while and typically crops up whenever vampires are around, such as that big crossover vampire arc Marvel did a few years ago. I didn’t like him in the comics, and the Leto movie looked pretty lame (outside

In this article it makes sense that they’d use “Latino” rather than “Latinx” because both the actor and character in question are male. I guess Latinx is used when the gender of the subject in question is unknown or they’re nonbinary. German is kind of working on the same thing, finding a way to describe a third

I’m excited as well, though a Kraven movie would be great. I’m sure Marvel has that in the works somewhere.

I agree, I’ve never heard of this guy before, and that is actually quite refreshing. This gives Bad Bunny a chance to work with the writers on sculpting more of a fleshed out backstory than magical luchador (though that is a great start, I love Lucha Underground) and I’m already more excited for this than for Morbius

Does Bruce Campbell’s “My Name is Bruce” performance not count? I guess that isn’t quite the same as the rest of these, but that was still a very funny movie. Keanu Reeves playing himself in “Always be my Maybe” was good too, similar to Campbell, playing a very heightened version of himself.

I’m getting into Le Carre, definitely a fan so far. I’ve read six of his novels so far, I believe, off the top of my head. The most recent being “The Russia House” which also seems somewhat light by his standards, or at least a relatively light-hearted ending.

Solid list, could also pick Kanar or Bloodwine from Star Trek. I’d say Rumsy Rum from World of Warcraft or Blackbriar brews from Skyrim.

Yeah I mean if Smith had slapped Rock at a private function or in one of their homes, it would have been quite different than doing so at a televised event that is typically insulated from violence or things “getting real” so bringing actual violence into such a scripted event makes the scenario way more shocking than

Exactly, it isn’t a great joke but as a comedian I’m sure she felt she had to inject some levity into the situation before getting real. It obviously wasn’t the type of callous self-promotion that is meant to be taken seriously.

I agree, if Schumer had been the one who g0t slapped, that’d be one thing, but she seems more upset than the guy who actually got hit. Rock is a grown ass man, he doesn’t need her being offended on his behalf, though since he’s friends with Sykes and Schumer, I do understand them wanting to comment on the issue

West also straight up threatened to have people come over and break D.L. Hughley’s legs, just for making jokes about his ex moving on.

Diamond Cutter is always a top notch finisher. Karl Malone throwing up the Diamond Cutter symbol after so many years. loved that.
