The show is certainly a lot more high stakes and serious than “Fargo” was supposed to be.

Yeah if they’re going to explore the idea that real world ugly things can happen even in a mostly fairy tale setting like Downton then they probably should have been a bit more serious about it. I was never a fan of Anna/Bates anyway because their stories were contrived and they really wanted to hammer you over the

I like her a lot too, that’s why I’m glad she’s got a show where she’s a main character, “Good Girls”, which is worth checking out. Not quite as good as “Parks and Recreation” but it does have a lot more Retta, P&R had a really deep cast so sometimes I think she got wasted just having connections to famous people or

“squashed by the flat-footed loafer of farcically cynical celebrity show-presidency”

Carrie Coon was super in “the Leftovers” but I think her performance in “Fargo” was the best thing she’s done so far.

Yeah I really liked “Downton Abbey” for the character interactions and dialogue but the plot, especially post-war, was almost always “the abbey is going broke unless one of you marries a rich person” or something. Loved the cast though. It seems he has a similarly talented one here, so hopefully “The Gilded Age” has

This was a lot better than I thought it would be. Congrats to Mako Ray and thanks for putting in all that work.

I dunno, there was a lot of good post-Brendanawicz. I think Chris and Ben added plenty of energy to the show. I really enjoyed their dynamic with one another, in addition to their eventual romances.

Yeah he should go with Foggy, at least that guy is dedicated to being a lawyer and doesn’t treat his day job like a hobby that gets in the way of his vigilante “career” or maybe go with Jennifer cause at least her identity is open and she doesn’t have to do the disappearing act bollocks.

Any other person as JJJ would be such a downgrade, and I’m not Just Kidding about that.

I wasn’t a fan of Affleck as DD but I was really into Colin Farrell as Bullseye. He deserves another chance as that character in a better version of that movie. Also, RIP Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin.

That old “Spider Man Ultimate” from the PS2 where you get to play as him and venom is also great, just kind of short. Though I loved the cel-shaded graphics, made it look a lot like a comic book come to life.

The Candy Cane was such a nice touch.

Missed opportunity! Damn. Well at least it didn’t make the entire comment br-oaken

Colossal was really good! I second the recommendation.

Yeah she might need a few more roles to Spruce up the whole IMDB profile. Though can I Ash you a question? if the industry has held her back then do you think they Willow her some back pay?

2001 was a good year for Johansson, “The Man Who Wasn’t There” was a great movie. She obviously didn’t have as large a part as in “Ghost World” but I really enjoy both of those films.

Of course the rich don’t wash their salad bowls, that’s why they got Parasite(s)

Samurai Jack’s theme song.

I know a lot of youth pastors out there try and be cool with the youths and try too hard and fail, but your pastor actually seems pretty neat.
