It’s funny to me that people are getting worked up about this. What do they think is going to be in there that is going to change anyone’s mind? Trump is a shiesty, mediocre business man with multiple bankruptcies to his credit, and a history of using eminent domain to steal people’s property for private ventures.

I have a hard time deciding between Next Gen and DS9, but DS9 is definitely more realistic. People ask why sci-fi always has to be about some flashy space war just so it looks cool, and DS9 is the answer to that. They explored a lot of normal situations, religion, etc.

Why in the hell would they release it in October?

If this is an antibiotic resistance concern, i.e. a public health concern, then fine. Otherwise, there is no reason the FDA should be banning anything. It could be a consumer issue if the claims are misleading, but in the absence of data that these ingredients are harmful, this is just yet another overreach by our

Holy shit. That definitely does not look, “awesome”. It looks like a luxo barge that some idiot decided to put a bumper on, rather than buying a proper offroad vehicle. No. Just no.

Wanted one of these sooooooo bad. All the really rich kids’ parents had them in high school. I was looking at them in the mid 2000's but just couldnt find the right one.

WW1 was a fairly big deal. Would we have heard about a woman in India who was raped and then <insert littany of terrible things that have happened to women who have been raped in India> a century ago? Definitely not. Would we have the intense media focus on civilian casualties of war? Obviously not.

Maybe if the U.S. required driver education that went beyond not crashing in to anything we might not have so many issues.

Lets be honest here. Cultural appropriation is bad, but Scarlett Johansson is really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really

Don’t think we needed 4 choices of messenger bags...but whatever.

I feel like some regular elements might anchor the show a little better. Challenges were my favorite part of Top Gear U.K. by far, but it’s a lot to take on to try and do that for every single episode. The quality of the challenges varies a lot.

Look at those pictures blown up to billboard size and then let us know what you think.

A lot of MF shooters are working in the studio, where having an OVF is still very desirable. It can be tricky to work with strobes with a mirrorless.

The one problem here, and don’t get me wrong I am desperate for an affordable mirrorless MF platform, is that a lot of MF gear is used for studio shooting. Mirrorless can be a little bit tricky in the studio - it’s usually better to have an OVF in those cases.

I sold all of my Canon gear ( a lot of gear I used for a very long time) and just shoot Fuji now, so don’t think I’m a Sony fanboy, but I can’t really agree with this.

I was starting to write a reply echoing this post, but you really summed it up perfectly and the wind came out of my sails.

There are rumors that Fuji may release a mirrorless Medium Format. They make amazing mirrorless cameras today and if they bring that expertise to MF (they’re already building lenses for Hasssy) that is going to be a force to reckon with.

I was sweating how the timeline was going to work, but you make an excellent point here.

Exactly what I thought. Yea Star Wars had some battered looking stuff, but when I think of that aesthetic I think of nothing but Alien and Aliens.
