Peter Dinklage starred in The Station Agent as Finbar McBride. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Elf, but the Station Agent is an awesome movie. Give the man a GOOD credit.

I think I’m pretty self aware, and when it comes to politics and such I am open to seeing how my point of view looks to other people, the times when I’m being an asshole, etc. It doesn’t really bother me and I...let’s say I am “better than most” at not getting defensive. ;)

Interesting comments re: the speed gate.
Almost any exotic looks much better in person. They look cool in pictures too, but in person its a whole different story. I never liked the Diablo until a saw one in person. When I finally saw one I was blown away at how awesome it was.
Totally disagree. My childhood cat became overweight and the vet put him on an all dry food diet. He lived to be 20 with no major health issues. The cats I have now have been fed nothing except dry food and are both extremely healthy. No issues whatsoever.
Ooo thats a really cute cat!
Our female is a Maine Coon/Manx mix. Probably the best behaved and most chill cat I have ever seen.
As much as our male (younger) irritates our female, I think she is happier with him around. They can chase each other when you're not in the mood to play and just generally provide a more interesting life.
I grew up with a cat who started on wet food, wound up getting people food as treats, then got fat and had to eat (dried) diet food for the rest of his life. He lived to be 20, so it all worked out, but from this, I learned a number of things.
The sports thing is unbelievably ingrained in male psychology. I am a guy and I could not give the slightest shit about professional sports. I’ve had vendors come in and go into a 5 minute diatribe about whatever some local, or non local, team is up to and then look at me to chime in. I just look at them, smile…
I’m not the greatest dresser of all time and it was mentioned to me that I should do something about that in order to get promoted...which in and of itself is kind of bull shit. I’ve since been noticing what women are able to wear to work in my office versus men. I think women are getting the better part of that…
It annoys me too. I realize that people will inevitably have different positions on gun control, but the pro-gun control side *militantly* refuses to learn basic facts about guns. I saw a guy on TV once who was corrected on clip vs. magazine and literally used clip again in the next sentence he uttered. It's…
Gun owner here: completely agree with you.
My bet is on stopping in the middle of the road to figure out the directions on their mobile phone.
I can't remember if its the Subaru commercial or not, but one of the commercials for these systems basically has a guy driving around not paying any attention at all and the system keeps saving him. The message is basically, "buy our car, and you'll have to pay even LESS attention to your driving than you do now!"
Interior parts. Needlessly complex and impossible to work on without breaking. Ludicrously expensive to replace. If you have to pull the entire dash out of the car for something like HVAC blend doors, then that process shouldn't be the Mount Everest of working on cars because there's no reason in the world why it…
Drivers in MA are pretty good compared to states like CT. We're just ridiculously aggressive, because that's how you have to drive in MA. If you're not aggressive, you're fucking up the traffic flow because everyone *expects* you to be aggressive.
Oh boy, that is just Shitty McShittington. That thing was not even budging!
Can this system also electrocute the driver if they fling open their door in heavy traffic and then proceed to fuck around with stuff in their car for 10 minutes while everyone else is trying to get by?
