People did leave in droves. They have like 1/10 the servers now than they did at launch. And that happened just months after launch.

The game looks like rubbish on both the PC and console because of the console’s lack of power. At least on the PC you can get mods to make it look better and have the hardware to do so.

Yeah, but those SNES games had very expensive cartridges and packaging tied to the cost. Not to mention physical distribution. Steam/digital only games have none of those costs to make up.

So you might want to check it out again. I started playing again late last season. Got a wizard to a point I could juuuust about solo T10. Took just under a month of what most would consider casual play with some friends and public games.

For end game its easy enough to jump into public games for better drops. No friends required.

Dude, this game is worthless without the expansion. The WHOLE point of Diablo is the loot. Without the expansion you’re stuck at lvl 60. All the best gear is found at lvl 70 which was added with this expansion. Just buy it already. Also, i’m pretty sure it’s been on sale for less than $20 during the holiday sales...…

I think it was PCGamer that ran some tests on AC:Syndicate on a system with 3 GTX 980’s and they saw fps as low as 35fps in the outside world (not in a building/room).
