I guess I’m okay with some price wiggle, so it (just for my opinion) can go above 40k, but boy would I like to see a company commit to keeping weight down. An e90 m3 was about 3,375 lbs. An s2000 was under 3,000. The Toyaburus were under 3k. If they can bring this in under 3,400 then it could be fun as heck all day to

The main thing they need to do is rake it forward—not necessarily the grill, but the yellow surrounding rectangle. If that rectangle leaned forward, it just might have the right look good.

@ Andrew P. Collins, you really should promote this photoshop to a front page article tomorrow; “Nissan’s global design team taken behind woodshed and humiliated with 10 min photoshop by Jalopnik user crankaholic

What a great fix.

The thing that will make or break this car in my book is weight. If it’s 3,800 pounds, then I am NOT interested.

Missing from the article: fact and evidence-based connection between the speeding tickets and fatalities.

Because black lights matter? (I’ll see myself out.)

You cannot let your husband have any freedom of attention when the business is driving. You will figure our your schedule, but mine is that we drive 10 hours each day, we only stop when the tank is empty and at the half-way point. At the half-way point, we only go into the rest-stop bathrooms, empty the car trash, and

There are different types of road trips, but two big defining questions are: (i) are you traveling alone, and (ii) are you traveling to get to a destination, or are you traveling to see the sights? Your article shows that you are traveling alone to get to a destination, so...

“stolen...”

I got three play-throughs, but I basically agree with you. Here’s how I played it thrice.

One more important thing that can be a good reason for a logo change: the prevalence of digital media. Think about how many cars would (logically) show their own logo in the media screen during start-up. Also, how many cars come with some kind of smartphone app that offers some function or another.

You’re neglecting to discuss one important feature of the logo: size. So far, BMW has been one company to resist the temptation to make their badge the size of a pizza. I’m looking at you, Lexus. Other bad companies that should have their knuckles rapped include Acura, Mercedes, and Infiniti.

So, other than price, weight, driving fun, and fragile mechanical complexity, it might rival an s2000?

Alec may have a “truth in advertising” lawsuit on his hands for “experiment” in which he reached back out to Tesla about the used cars, asking if FSD could be removed to save money, and Tesla said no.

You should mention the table in the back. I mean the literal, remove it from the car, fold out the legs, and stand it on the ground, it’s table-table. The car literally came with a table.

Prediction: Nissan will launch a new Z model. It will be an SUV! (that’s my prediction!)

Several of your targets are apparently intended to be practical, compact cars. The Dodge Dart and Nissan Versa, for example, seem to want to slot in as inexpensive compact cars with a four-door option.

I hate to be *that guy*, but here goes. I certainly agree with the decision of the court. Drivers should use their turn signal for each and every turn, lane change, or other L or R movement.

Miata is always the answer.
