2 things.
2 things.
That’s like literally the exact opposite of how facts work. The article reports that the BMW has 255 Hp and weights 3,287 lbs. An s2000 has 237 Hp and weighs 2,800 lbs. Hp is a measure of force applied over distance per time (i.e., the units are HP = (Fxd)/t). Remembering that force is mass times acceleration, if we…
I have an '04 Fozzy XT, and it's one of my all time fave cars. But this price? Easy CP. It's worth 5k at that mileage, if it's well-sorted. CP.
I gave a reluctant CP, but my thinking went like yours. Ultimately, the likely driving/ ownership experience of this v comparably priced Miata, went to reluctant CP.
So, a heavy s2000 with a slushbox?
“The cars weren’t particularly noteworthy in anyway.”
I think you’re exactly right. I think a c5 z06 can actually hit those marks. Anyone know the HP on that car? I believe it is sub-3,000 lbs.
Weight and visibility. If I get a two door, rwd, sporty car, I want it light, and I want to see in all directions, easily. I look over my shoulder to change lanes or monitor my environment.
Kismet: Same car wtih a few more miles appeared on Boston CL today for $1,500. CP all day.
Good point. Probably not going to get another 2000 Honda s2000 then? Or a new Lotus Esprit?
I think you are correct. On both cars, the front hood makes an unforgiving box, with a nose like a pilot whale. The body and flanks are way to stocky. Actually, I’ll stick with pilot whale. Both cars are proportioned like the pilot whale.
Hey! Have you been watching over my shoulder? That’s my play style!
This officer (and the original reporting outlets) are ignoring a rich relationship between police officers and restaurants. I’ve worked in a number of restaurants and often, even if some specific employee harbors some person anti-cop sentiment (e.g., even just simple nervousness about getting pulled over and getting…
Echoing some other comments here, but with my own spin: How about Kia Stinger GT versus:
Why do you hate the auto? I commute into Boston every day and I am getting tired of permanent stop-start driving and what it must be doing to my clutch or throw-out bearing on my other car (I switch between my manual 3 series and DCT 135is). For daily traffic commuting, I have been thinking that an automatic makes…
I have a direct ancestor to this car, the 2013 bmw 135is, and everything you say is true. The 135is is a great car with the right amount of power and speed. Anybody who wants more power just wants it for the number. Unless you’re actually racing, on a track with long straights, you will never use all of the power. My…
You forgot to mention that your list is perfectly centered on zero. The entries 1 to 5 are above and zero are good ways to name cars, and entries 6 to 10 are below zero and are such bad ways to name cars that cars so-named are actually decreased in value by having the name applied.
I want to know the specific differences between this car and the M240i.
Exterior color? What is the transmission? Interior color? Does it have Nav? noteworthy flaws? asking price?
I’m probably not going to buy an ‘08 m5 right now, because I have an ‘08 m3 I’m trying to sell, but color me interested.
Im interested. Year? Mileage?
