I always thought the Citation filled this slot. Overall, it’s a dull, sad, ugly car. But they actually got the lines right. The proportions would be pleasing if it were anything BUT a Chevorlet Citation.

A few years ago, I actually made this JPEG to show a shirt that I wished existed, so I could buy it and wear it.

Ugh. There’s one particular off-ramp I hit nightly on I-93 just S of Boston. It has two apexes separated by a very short straight. I just know there is a way to do it as a constant arc, but I have not yet found. But every night, I try a new line.

Um, nobody with a passenger is popping any wheelies on that bike...

On the plus side, finding parts near Moab should be easy. Right?

I’ve never hit CP so quickly in my life.

Or dig the road down a couple more feet. But seriously, I am not a road engineer, so I don’t know if that’s feasible.

Fixed roof—> track day OK

Start with the price, and it’s not worth it. Consider the car first, then the price is appropriate. NP

Talk about a code brown!

COTD—nailed it at a glance. Same for several other people here. Based on the observations of a few eagle-eyed readers, it must be a 2010-2012 Kia Forte LX sedan.

I recently had one as a rental, base model, automatic (I don’t know if it even comes as a manual). Yep. Slow. Even in sport mode, it felt about as quick as the Honda Odyssey I used to have. Not cripplingly slow, mind you. but just not quick enough for the way the car looks.

I agree. I always kind of liked it, but not quite. Maybe if it were RWD. It was like “this close”...

Neutral: Subaru Legacy. Could have, should have been a 3-series killer. It looks good and the platform promises to be practical as a simple sedan. But it lacked that certain something (speed, oomph, sexiness). They were so close...

I love the missus’ ‘13 TL, essentially same car.

E39 530i or 540i w lowest miles you can find.

And then the Hummers are rescued by Subarus

boston, no joke. Boston drivers are pretty good during rush hour if you drive like them and respect the overall flow.

Incidentally, Calvin’s dad is a patent attorney, according to at least one strip. The USPTO registered attorney rolls includes one “Watterson” and that is Bill Watterson’s dad.

Bernie Sanders?
