These are the same people who throw a massive fit if they see a dozen pagans carrying sheathed swords and spears on private property for a festival. That’s a real example by the way, it happens a lot. We live in a country where assholes can buy military weapons but a couple pagans with swords are a security threat.

The terrible thing about the way Bezos runs Amazon isn’t that his workers are often mistreated. It’s that the rest of the economy treats them at least as badly or even worse, which is why they try to work at Amazon.

I will fault him and all his rich buds for writing the laws to make it so they can become even more rich from them.

We elect the people who concoct the tax code. We also elect the people who give local tax breaks to companies. We elect people who allow Amazon to “lease” employees and contend that those people don’t meet the definition of employees. I could go on.
