Then you either have been dreadfully deprived of some of the best digital entertainment, or you're Todd Howard.

This is what I said when my Bethesda fan friend tried to pitch Starfield to me, that it sounded like there was going to be a lot of nothing in there.

Gotcha, so you’re having a mid-life crisis and are lashing out to vent because everyone else in your little world has already tuned you out and unfollowed your posts on Facebook and Twitter.

Funny thing, dismissing doesn’t get rid of the comments. They’re still attached to your original post. Vetoing your dismissal is as simple as having a non-gray account give the offending post a star.

Every time I see new console news, it makes me glad I decided to stop buying dedicated consoles with the last generation.

Firefox and uBlock on desktop, Kiwi Browser and uBlock on Android. I will not allow my viewing experience to be worsened by greed, and I will continue finding and advertising ways around it until it becomes impossible to do so, at which point I’ll just let my eyeballs wander elsewhere.

Yes, people are definitely overreacting to you, but hooooooly hell I can smell the Triggered through my modem.

I’m not a Bethesda fan, but one of the good friends in my circle is, and I can tell you without bias that people were livid. And not in the “suddenly explodes” sense, but in the, “pot left on high heat and only glanced at over years” sense.

You mean that thing that so few people cared about that even Nintendo basically stopped bothering with it?

Pretty sure the first possible interaction with the Red Prince can have him offer to make you his slave, so not that different. Lizards were Swen’s favorite race in D:OS as well, so apparently he has a type.

IIRC, Swen went on record stating that they had designed the narrative specifically so they could include the Gith from the outset. You don’t put that kind of effort in if you don't heavily favor the race, so the Gith being purposely OP wouldn't surprise me.

Except it’s not shitty behavior. Expecting the rest of the world to not talk about things because you decided not to indulge for literal years is shitty behavior. One person does not get to decide how a hundred people act.

You can think the truth is terrible, but Minthara being killed in good playthroughs has been known for well over a year. Again, Early Access since 2021. No one is obligated to not spoil something for you that’s been in circulation that long.

Instant spoilers for a massively mainstream game’s first act that’s been available for years at this point due to early access? Yeah no, statue of limitations on that spoiler has long passed, friend-o.

Eh, it’s not exactly a conspiracy theory that executives time dumb, risky  moves like this to coincide with sold stock. Saying it wasn’t malicious greatly underestimates the planning abilities of these parasites.

In a vacuum, that sounds logical. But the economics of a single company, product, or medium are never in a vacuum. New competition happens all the time. People abandon a company for moral, practical, or even stupid reasons. Merely having more people to sell to does not automatically make up for this.

If you needed the crutches of Songbirds, Zimmermans, and Stun Needle Launchers? You probably needed to get better at the game anyways if you wanted to survive the alternate routes on subsequent playthroughs.

AC actually had it back in the 4A days, played a lot of it with my roommates. Sadly, they dropped it for V’s largely online PvP structure and it’s been missing since.

You mean Rayden?

I always assumed Tidus was pronounced "TIDE-us" because it made so much sense. The game itself puts heavy emphasis on water, like with Tidus' weapon on the cover art, his playing of an underwater sport, the big monster thing they're trying to get rid of rises up from the ocean, the emphasis on the tides of fate vs.
