It was from a translated interview that never left Japan, but unfortunately the site hosting it went down in 2006 and I can’t for the life of me remember what site it was. Apologies.

Indeed, and a prime example of a man whose works can and should be celebrated, even if as a person he might not be.
Oh, that’s easy. Because Japanese developers think that Japanese games are inherently superior (“I don’t think westerners can make good games” - Shigeru Miyamoto) and if we westerners don’t react like they want, clearly we’re not understanding something. And this is coming from someone who generally vastly prefers…
It doesn’t prove anything about your point, since the original games and their remakes weren’t like that; Hatman’s point was that the edginess wasn’t introduced for those particular timelines until Nomura took those characters and reimagined them for Dissidia and beyond. You seem like you have a chip on your shoulder…
That’s because it generally wasn’t. 1-6 were pretty much straight up stock fantasy, with some elements of steampunk creeping in around 6. 7 is where they really started to lean hard into darker storytelling and “edgier” characters, with 10 basically codifying it from there on.
Yeah, my bad on not being specific enough.
Likely yes, it’d be meant to be paired with the newer Switch model.
Calling it, new dock with enhanced hardware that couples with the Switch for 4K output and higher base resolution for supported titles, MRSP ~$150.
I could count on one hand the times my whole team died throughout Pokemon history, and I’ve been playing since Gen 1. Pokemon was ALWAYS easy once you knew how it works, the type chart, etc. It’s a game made for younger audiences at its core. The only times I ever had trouble were confirmed instances of the computer…
The problem is, generally, that designing characters that way isn’t sustainable. The costs of designing content keep going up when you have to include provisions for lower-tier characters to allow them to continue to shine; Arknights uses a formula that makes it easier thanks to how its DP system works, but eventually…
That is, in fact, what I meant. I was running on fumes when I made that post, that’s on me. XD
“The Nintendo 64 controller was not a good controller. The Nintendo 64 was a successful console in spite of its controller.”
Mischief Makers offered the D-pad as an alternate control option and it was superior (in fact, it was impossible to get 100% completion with only the control stick).
Or you could just open the door. You ain't got what anybody living in your space hasn't seen anyway.
Every single forum I’ve ever been on (that wasn’t a squatting place for extremely niche and technical topics constantly squabbled about) has been about at Discord’s level in terms of post length and longevity. The vast majority of the internet did not use forums as described, and I had accounts with several where…
Not sure how you came to that conclusion. I’m saying how things are, not how I think they should be. Also, you chose a worse analogy, as printer companies can’t physically force you to use their ink cartridges, but they can and do refuse to support them and many void your warranty if you use them or their use damages…
They did that with that one comic about a guy (later trans girl) named Bear. Name escapes me at the moment, didn’t end up working out too well. Mind, extreme case, but it’s better if the comics features have consistent schedules.
Yes, yes, we all know you’re super smart and everything should be up to your standards. Go on and build your own webcomic empire, tell us how it goes. We’ll wait.
That he’s clearly better at making money than you are?
I can hear the wind whooshing above me. XD
