It’s only a franchise if there’s more than one game.

...those sprites look AWFUL though. They’re faded, washed out, and barely have any charm to them at all. I’ll stick to the GBA and PSP remakes, thanks.
...this might be the first Disgaea game I skip. The thing that drew me to the series was its amazing 2D characters, and these 3D models are just not hitting any sweet spots for me.
If you are not involved and you are thrusting yourself into the situation, you are instigating an escalation. You do not have to be the first participant to instigate something. Whether or not that instigation is called for or not is not part of the equation as far as what you are doing. Which is instigation.
I have to emphatically disagree; being used as a single-press activation or scrolling doesn’t constitute being “used a lot” in a game. “Used a lot” implies that it’s core to the gameplay, which in those games it really isn’t, as you don’t need to select anything in a hurry in either (BotW pauses when your weapon…

Is professional gaming providing actual profits now, or is it just an extremely convoluted and expensive ad campaign?
If it’s not directly at you, then yes, it’s instigation on your part because you are making it PERSONAL. Directly engaging is instigation, period. There is no dialogue between you and them until a name is dropped and a call-out begins. Doesn’t matter if you’re pro-choice or pro-life, instigation is instigation no…
No, mine is the logic that calling out someone (e.g. being the instigator against someone not associating or communicating directly with you) is no better than shaming. You added an initial homophobic insult against yourself as instigation. That would be the callout, at which point you get to choose how to respond.
Mainly because “calling out” is just another way to say “shaming”, which is intolerant and is a method of peer pressure through mob mentality. Which isn’t to say I don’t call people out, but I also don’t pretend like doing so is opening a discussion when in reality we’re just being obstinate ourselves.
I use two different alternatives, dependent largely on if you have a specific controller or not. Both options I find superior to the Pro Controller and vastly superior for retro games on the platform. Both options are also dependent on 8BitDo.

Much easier to see details like that without all the ads choking it from view, in’nit?
This article in four words: Use synonyms when searching.
So in other words, they’re not useful for their intended purpose and are only useful as an advertisement, which doesn’t require ratings.
They’re largely meaningless because userscores and critic scores are rarely in agreement, and thus neither is typically useful. When they both correlate with low scores, there’s usually a reason for it, but that doesn’t suddenly make Metacritic a viable conclusion, just an anomaly that warrants further scrutiny.
If by “bit of a stretch” you mean “opening a goatse-sized hole for his beloved franchise’s figurehead to ram into”. Seriously, I can't see how he interpreted that as anything but willful ignorance.
This comment section is a perfect macrocosm of everything that’s wrong with humanity. Self-righteous dirtbags trying to tell other people what to do, reactive people getting defensive about it, and everyone focusing on whether the parents should or should not be lambasted.
I guess our government is largely run by young white kids then.
Last panel, accidental space between “to” and “o”, the line is meant to read “...think the narrator is too much and is annoying,” but it’s still perfectly readable and most people don’t even notice it.
*Nerf Now!
But VERY relevant politically.
