No mecha, a deluge of music, more isekais (can we get a good reverse-isekai? People from another world get trapped in ours?), the usual idol drivel designed to separate creepy virgins from their wallets... I didn't see a single thing that looked even remotely interesting.

Is anyone really surprised? Mortal Kombat has always been B-movie storytelling with inexplicably A-list FX.

So your reasoning is both self-serving and irrelevant, and clearly you’re still mired mentally in that shitty job enough to be doing a shitty job in all other aspects of your life. Sounds about right.

Next week on Lifehacker: how to discover bosses that will give a crap about your burnout.

If it helps, you sound like you’re just lashing out childishly because you couldn’t nab a pre-order. Does that make you feel better?

Or to troll people who speak said language, i.e. "Pokeyman".

By that same token Japan will adjust, and by several billion less people, too. Which seems more selfish to you?

I love the sheer number of Japanese manbabies that treat this like it’s some kind of cardinal sin, using the same tired argument of “we’ve always done it this way” and “everyone should conform to US” that many countries (Japan included) make fun of the US for (justifiably in a lot of ways).

Zhou Yu’s staff was my preferred playstyle, love that spinning fire musou.

Sadly, I’ve never cared about trophies/achievements. It’s the character makers and custom scenarios that keep me coming back to Empires.

Hot take: I have logged more hours into DW6E than any other entry, and I still consider it one of the best ones.

Aside from 8 Empires, anyway, which was just 7 Empires with a different (and often lesser) coat of paint.

*interpreted it as

Even as a kid, I always interpreyed as a (bad) attempt at a stereotypical Italian accent. "So long-eh Bowser!"

I joke, but I could see them doing so as an updated re-release.

I feel like calling it a subseries when there’s been no major rumors or announcements of a sequel is a bit much, but fair enough.

It has actually been mentioned in passing (through NPC dialogue in World) that the core concept of Stories—people riding monsters—is something that’s been heard of by sailors and scholars. Meanwhile, in the first Stories game you literally go to a place where riding monsters isn’t a thing.

Except World IS going somewhere; specifically, it’s only going to get bugfix updates after Fatalis drops in October, well before this game’s release. It’s a melancholic feeling, as someone who’s been following World for the past two years on PC. Good times.

Eh, not surprising. Sony having ownership of Demons’ Souls was the main reason why From Software made Dark Souls, so they had control over it. All this really means is that I won’t play it, since I have no plans to buy consoles past this generation.

I mean, it'sliterally a batch file to cancel EAC and launch the game. If they're going for annoyance as deterrant, it seems like a low bar to start with.
