I can't see digital media EVER taking off 100%. People will always want something to hold for their money. hell, an important part of my childhood was blowing the nintendo cartridges. (hahaha that sounds far more dirty than intended!).

There's no way they played Smash Bros online. No way. The game is awesome, but not a 40. I can't call how many times I nearly killed an actual living person because of the lag in matches.
