I agree. The kind of microscope he’s under would drive a lot of people crazy. I also feel like since the tennis community has been talking about him for so long we can sometimes forget he’s only 21. He seems like he’s on a better path now, and certainly hasn’t done anything I would remotely consider irredeemable like

I didn’t question why tennis fans don’t like him. This article was completely over the top in its condemnation of him, and I was questioning what he did to deserve that level of response.

Honestly, what has this kid done to deserve this level of pearl-clutching? Yeah, he’s been a brat at times on court, and said and done things he shouldn’t have, but he seems to be maturing.

Honestly the Chicago should have just kept Cutler all things considering. I know as a Bears fan that’s like sacrilegious to say at this point, but Christ. Glennon and Sanchez. I was depressed when I thought they were going to keep Hoyer as a starter for 2017. Now I miss those days.

As a Bears fan, the mere possibility of getting rid of Cutler only to get Mike Glennon, and pay him MORE than Cutler, has given me what I’m pretty sure is the beginning of an ulcer.

I think comments like these pretty much guarantee that no gay teammate would want to even be friends with Stoudemire, let alone check him out in the showers.....

I’m less shocked by the loss itself (every top player suffers through a few upsets per season it seems), than by the way he lost it. Federer is usually such a great frontrunner.

This is awesome, but I hate that it means announcers will continue to use the “SABR” acronym (Sneak Attacks By Roger) 30+ times in every Federer match.

Honestly, Bernie seems like way more of a douche than Nick.

I watch a decent amount of tennis, and no it’s not terribly common. I also assumed he meant “gorilla” when I first saw the clip a few weeks ago, but obviously there’s no real way to tell for sure.

Worse. I’m a Bears fan. I live in the PNW now, so the Seahawks are sort of my adopted team, but it’s not the same. Honestly, I’m pretty sure the Cubs winning is like the last good sports thing that’s ever going to happen to me.

1. I think he was short, but on the replay it’s honestly too close to overturn.

Yeah, that’s not true at all. The Bears were the NFC North Champions with Cutler in 2010 and went 11-5 for the season. Also went 10-6 in 2012. It’s probably best for both the Bears and Cutler that they go their separate ways, but it’s best to know your facts before hating on a guy who, like it or not, is the best QB
