Honestly, what has this kid done to deserve this level of pearl-clutching? Yeah, he’s been a brat at times on court, and said and done things he shouldn’t have, but he seems to be maturing.

Honestly the Chicago should have just kept Cutler all things considering. I know as a Bears fan that’s like sacrilegious to say at this point, but Christ. Glennon and Sanchez. I was depressed when I thought they were going to keep Hoyer as a starter for 2017. Now I miss those days.

As a Bears fan, the mere possibility of getting rid of Cutler only to get Mike Glennon, and pay him MORE than Cutler, has given me what I’m pretty sure is the beginning of an ulcer.

I’m less shocked by the loss itself (every top player suffers through a few upsets per season it seems), than by the way he lost it. Federer is usually such a great frontrunner.

I watch a decent amount of tennis, and no it’s not terribly common. I also assumed he meant “gorilla” when I first saw the clip a few weeks ago, but obviously there’s no real way to tell for sure.

Yeah, that’s not true at all. The Bears were the NFC North Champions with Cutler in 2010 and went 11-5 for the season. Also went 10-6 in 2012. It’s probably best for both the Bears and Cutler that they go their separate ways, but it’s best to know your facts before hating on a guy who, like it or not, is the best QB…
