Woot Woot! We love our PacHy too!

I am a pediatric allergist and I agree with the above comment. There is a reason why they are sold as two packs and it isn’t for convenience (it’s because a second dose may be needed!). Most insurance companies will let you refill an epipen monthly, so if your doctor (or other) didn’t tell the pharmacy to give you

The problem with any of the above restaraunt and chains is that a lot of them are franchises and there is a huge variability to their internet. The Dunkin’ near my old house had HORRIBLE wifi. The best and most consistent internet for me has been Starbucks.

Allergist here: Allergy immunotherapy can be a very good option for some patients. We normally do not start shots until a patient is on a decent regimen of medications (antihistamines, nasal sprays or other depending on symptoms) but depends on the allergist. It is a major committment and usually involves a build up

Any drug can have an IgE mediated allergy. Sulfa allergies are very common and skin testing can be done but it is not as well validated as Penicillin testing but probably the second best understood group. It is still worth seeing an allergist to have evaluated as Sulfa antibiotics can be important for certain type of

As an allergist I agree with this post. A few things to mention with the usual caveats of ALWAYS TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR for the best advice, safest approach to addressing medical issues.

I have a Pacifica PHEV (PacHy) and actually really love it. Drives nicely and pretty good tech. 35mile range on battery and then 30mpg on hybrid for a minivan is nothing to sneeze at. The thing weighs 5,000lbs and low center of gravity.

Draw a car track on the back of a white shirt and then let kids drive their cars on your back. Added bonus of a massage. Google it.

I’m an immunologist and amazing how often I need to convince parents to just stop checking. Some check on a daily basis just for fun. Of course if it wasn’t a “fever” (it’s not a fever) then it would be a hair on the head that is out of place. Most parents need a healthy dose of reassurance.

Depends if you are neutropenic.

Does it tell parents what is a fever and what is not a fever? I’m a pediatrician and often get told by parents that his/her child was febrile with a “high temperature of 99F”. For most kids a fever is defined as 100.4F (lower for patients with cancer, immunodeficiencies, etc).

I remember buying the Surfboard SB6141 when it was considered to be “future proof” just a year ago. So much for that! Nothing is future proof for more than a year.

Why not just use less shampoo or dilute the bottle with water? I use a little more than a pea size amount and seems to be sufficient.

Does this charger draw any power if it is left plugged into the car but no device is plugged into it? Leaving it in place is great, except I’d worry that it might drain my battery—slowly.

We should modernize infrastructure but having a car continually circle the block to save a few bucks on parking wont be helped by updating infrastructure. A better option would be for all of us to ditch our cars and we have more of a Zipcar type of model where you rent/share cars instead.

I’m not sure completely autonomous or being able to summon your car more than a few miles is a good thing.

IF all you want is a bike, then the cheapest option and hassle is to rent one wherever you are going, but most people who are bringing a bike with them are doing so for a reason. Cyclist are particular subculture.
