Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die and when we are going to die, instead of focusing on how to fix these issues?

Its one of the problems. Plus, who cares if you’re being “guilted” into driving less. Just don’t let the guilt affect you.

Blame others for the problem to justify his own choices, I’m assuming.

That is not only a lie, it’s a very dangerous lie. Responsible farming and eating local are the so much better for the environment than factory farming ANYTHING, (be it animals OR plants). People can not survive on plants alone, there isn’t enough arable land on the planet to provide the nutrition that people need to

So do nothing because of hypocrites and other countries? Cool.

It’s cyclical.

I like it... as long as there is no video of you making it anywhere on youtube.

The reaction I got was a pause while they thought about it and a “yeah I guess” response.

We used the 120V Level 1 cordset and a regular 120V outlet. It charged at around 10 amps. Worked fine. We were asleep while it charged.

We recharged every night. Plugged in when we got home and it switched on around midnight. Full in the morning. 120V (Level 1) was plenty of time for our EV to charge. Even as time went on and our family and successive EV grew, our daily mileage did not. Hence, the 120V and overnight charging still worked, no matter

It’s also a matter of public policy as well as economics, because EVs are not only cheaper to run, their energy source is less polluting, or at least makes its pollution at a generating station somewhere in the boondocks rather than from millions of distributed sources in a big city.

“I accidentally put the gearshift to R instead of P, jumped out in fear when the car moved, then left my dog in there because I had no idea what to do. And I will not admit this is my fault.

No, an electric Brat!

Simone had the right idea.   If they actually produced the Truckla, I’d buy the hell out of that shit.

Huh. I was around, and involved, and...well...out best effort was the year we entered a SpongeBob car. Skipped the cutting and went straight to decoration. It had a lot of fans.

This truck is like something out of a movie...a low budget 80s movie taking a half ass guess as to what cars in 2020 will look like.

Can we start calling them automotive pessimists instead of enthusiasts? Because they don’t seem too enthusiastic about much of anything to me. I have fun behind the wheel of just about anything.

No I'd say Star Wars and Star Trek fans are the worst. They all scream for new content, but then whine that the new content is new!

“Car enthusiasts are a deeply miserable lot, almost endemically unhappy about everything...”
