Haha, I love humble bragging about wearing the same size I did in high school. Never mind that I’m totally fatter than I was 23 years ago.

I appreciate that. We’ve got another one coming that discusses the settlement further.

Glad to see you’re making it through this process.

No. Read the materials. You can do the buyback, or you can do the fix. If the fix never happens, then you can still do the buyback.

Let’s not forget the mountains of paperwork and fine text they make you agree to and sign off on. It’s literally part of their toolkit, to inundate you with way too much information to actually read and take it all in. Yes, it is ultimately up to the consumer to watch out for themselves, but knowing that people have

Agreed. This is what I think about when someone says they never use credit cards. All I can think of is not getting free money. It makes sense for those that can’t resist the temptation of open credit or don’t have a consistent income but if you can keep it paid off, it’s free moneyz.

You’re entitled to your opinion. I don’t think it’s quite fair to call people stupid and then criticize the sharing of information, though.

I use the promotional interest offers all the time. What I do is if the period is a year, I figure out how much I have to pay per month to pay it off in 11 months, then I round up the monthly payment to the next hundred. I've never been charged interest using this method. If I can't afford the monthly payment and pay
