That is one of my favorite lines in the whole series as well.

Yay! Downton Abbey.  One hour per week to be free from the nightmares of multiculturalism.

I remember a great bit where they open Epstein's locker and it is just filled to overflowing with notes for every contingency.

The AVClub needs a new feature.  Something like "Essential geek knowledge."  That would explain about Zork and other bits of geek lore to young whipper-snappers.

They still haven't done Buckaroo Banzai.

I've got an idea for a show from Downton Abbey.  It would be a contemporary show, and would be about a modern pop or movie star, but would mostly be about that agent, PA, manager, stylist, personal trainer, cook, etc. that go into producing and maintaining a top celebrity and all the behind the scenes conflicts and

I think that a similar show in the US called something like "The Gilded Age" would be a big success in the US.  It wouldn't deal with the Upstairs/Downstairs class aspect, but would be a drama series about the typical soap antics of the rich from 1880 - 1910 or so.

"The protest is against concentrated power"But not concentrated political power, in fact they want to concentrate more political power in the central state.

Give me a break.  Have you actually ever gone to church?  At my church all they ever talk about is how to better love one another.  I guess I failed because I think you're a moron.

Here’s Where The Strings Come In is not superior.

Yes, hilarious.

Attack of the Eye Creatures would be my place to start as well.  The Rip Taylor players is the funniest skit they ever did.

I think the "every shot in this movie looks like someone's last known photograph" is the single most brilliant line from MST3k.

Joel.  The host segments can have me rolling on the floor such as Hired!  The musical, or The Rip Taylor players.  Nothing from Mike kills me the same way.

Yes, that monologue has me in stitches every time I see it.

Plus, Bride of the Monster has Hired!  which is the funniest short they've done, (along with Mr. B Natural).
