What’s also interesting in the comparison between Joel and Mike is their dynamic with the bots. Joel was always a father figure for them and would often reprimand them when they told a joke that was too raunchy or dark.

They were the sort of movies that the Comedy channel had in their libraries because movie licensing deals often include extra movies that no one otherwise wants. So, to show an A or B-grade comedy, they’d end up with rights to a bunch of D-grade movies that they had no interest or intent on broadcasting.

As much as I enjoyed the show, it really, really annoyed me that two characters had a fight over which was an LMD right in front of a door that had an LMD detector built into it.

It’s still the shipper’s fault if they didn’t take every precaution available to assure coverage was suitable for being shipped. Handing off items isn’t uncommon at all in the shipping industry.

This cannot be recommended enough. Shipping/lost/theft/damage happens with any carrier. If you can’t afford to lose it, insure it, track it, require signatures, do whatever you can to assure it can be found or is covered. Don’t cheap out on $15 of extra shipping fees when shipping $10,000 of stuff.
