Uh...no? I was saying it’s blinding that every single white member of the test kitchen has their own show, but POC are just expected to show up on others’ shows or group series regularly and not be compensated, even when they’re participating in group videos like the two series I mentioned or the “from the test

Totally, when I saw what Sohla wrote I was convinced. Commenters are always picking up on AR’s attitude and the reaction of other staff around him in the videos he’s in. Generally the comments section is pretty chill (except for some pretty unpleasent Priya bashing at times) - guess you can’t really hide being a dick.

Every time Sohla is on camera, she's usually helping someone else, and it's usually obvious that she knows more than they do. Like, I love Claire, but tempering chocolate is not that hard. If you're a pastry chef, it should be well within your wheelhouse.

If Sohla says he’s bad he’s dead to me. Never liked him in the first place.

I am really struggling with what is going on with these Jezebel writers lately. They are just shitting on people for ridiculous reasons, blatantly missing the point, and from the comments it’s more than obvious that they are entirely out of touch with their audience. The fact that they’ve *more than once* mocked

Is this the second day in a row where this column has bashed voting?

Is Reese Witherspoon’s comment bad? Seems like a good starter list to me

Yeah, about that “random Target”:

Ugh I hate that I even know this, but words matter. The name Renesmee isn’t inexplicable. It’s just Edward and Bella’s mother’s names smooshed together. I also hate that while Meyer may not be a good writer, the hate directed at her silly stories is so damn misogynistic at it's core.

David Brooks, Bret Stephens and Bari Weiss all still have their columns, but please by all means continue to cheer Roman’s misfortunes because she had the gall to say something mildly rude about a fucking millionaire.

When a guy wastes my time (example: I would skip the gym because I knew we had plans at 7...he would work late, go to the gym anyway, and then arrive at my house late to find me ravenous and homicidal), I give the “My Time is Valuable” speech. Once he knows that showing up late is not OK with me, if he does it again

“But he’s also having a lot of confidence issues with not being allowed to work. Begging my spouse to be turned on by me is the biggest boner killer and marriage ruiner in the world so I’ll take my once a week marriage sex and keep getting the rest of my fix somewhere else.”

Yeah, I’m firmly in “those toilets aren’t going to scrub themselves” mode. Life rarely gives you perfect options, but if you have to pick between unpalatable options, Biden is far, far, far less unpalatable than Donald Trump is. We’re very soon going to be receiving 3,000 daily reminders that the most important asset

Here’s the thing - I suspect for most readers of this “supposedly feminist website”, Joe Biden was not their first (or second, third or fourth) choice, but alas, we are a small sample size of the larger electorate who, through a democratic process, elected him to be the Democratic candidate in 2020, so here we are.

I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.

My parents discovered I was gay at the end of my senior year of high school, right before graduation. My father beat me nearly unconscious and I literally ran out of the house with only the clothes I was wearing. I snuck back in twice to get some things, but it barely amounted to a suitcase’s worth of stuff.

I stayed

Seriously. Kicking someone who’s clearly down in the guise of praise is gross. Especially since Joan clearly needs all of the other writing assignments to get by. These sort of pieces take more time than an aggregated gossip column. She can’t make a living on them alone, at least not at this phase of her career.

Maybe you should stop writing compliments -- you’re bad at it.

“Look, I like Warren, but I just don’t think she can beat Trump” was a nonsensical, self-fulfilling caution. We can argue all day long about whether it was misogyny or not that propelled that argument, but, ultimately, there wasn’t any logic to it. She had great plans, backed up her opinions with data, and listened to

I love Lizzy Warrren. She is smart, thoughtful, and passionate. The only reason she is not running away with this thing is that we —as a country— fucking suck at doing the right thing.
