@PhillyLass: Actually that's a really common misconception, but we do release them and they do well. It's the same with birds, both have the best chance of survival if you can put the babies back in the nest (if they fell out) the moms will come back usually. Abandoned/orphaned animals shouldn't have a problem being

@MissBuckyC: aww, if the refuge is anything like the one where I volunteer they would probably appreciate baby squirrel help. We probably get 10 new ones every day and most people who work there take care of 10-20 on their own. I'm a new mom so they're going easy on me.

@peashelle likes a buttermint: It is a box of adorable indeed, especially when I peek in at them and they're all cuddled up together!

@birdfeet: I've had these guys since Thursday and have managed to only name one. I named him Chainsaw because that's what he sounded like the first time I tried to syringe feed him. Oh and one still hadn't opened her eyes and just did so for the first time today!

Guess who has 4 gray squirrel babies in a box on a heating pad in her living room. This girl! Anyone else here have any experience with wildlife rehabilitation? I volunteer at a WR clinic so that's how I ended up with them. It's going to be oh so hard to not grow attached.

@katherinejane76: I can't even handle this phrase after the RHONY episode when Kelly just kept saying it over and over as "The messenger always gets shot."

@georgiaporgiapuddingandpie: I got mine cut like that at the beginning of summer and it feels so incredible to make such a big change! Although, I've never really been emotionally (just physically) attached to my hair.

@itsonreserve: You beat me to it, that's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw it.

@Shancan: You beat me to the weird-but-true penis facts! Monotremes are so strange.

@weirdette: This is the first thing I thought of too! I hope my brain doesn't build some pathway connecting this song/video and someone yelling "COME IN MY ASS"

@mrdlister: Some hipster fixie purists find brakes lame, but I assure you that most fixies here in Tallahassee have a front brake and it's not always frowned upon. There are a ton of very dangerous intersections at the bottom of really steep hills here so it's mainly just a precaution, not something you have to use
