Codependent much?

Yay IndianaJoan! Always loved your story! Well deserved.

I can’t believe how many of the good ones in the comments didn’t make it. I didn’t think mine should, and it didn’t, but there were some that should have.

OMG I didn’t see it that way but that’s TOTALLY WHAT THAT WAS.

Oh man that was funny.

I don’t know why but I just got a little teary-eyed hearing how your partner comforted you. He’s a keeper.

For me, this was better told and scarier than ANY of the winners, This is the kind of story I want here.

I said the same thing. FAKE AF.

Only like one of my faves did. Surprised.

The Family is Forever one felt fake to me and then I noticed the teen bride had somehow managed to request to be buried in her wedding gown and conveniently died in a car accident soon after? There were seemingly true stories in the comments that were really creepy. If I want fake I can find that anywhere.

I agree. I wasn’t really scared at all. There were definitely scarier ones in the comments.

SAME.

My question - the bride requested to be buried in her gown? Wasn’t she a teen? She died in an accident; why would she have made funeral requests? Maybe I’m missing something but...

I must admit that I follow him on IG and on a recent Saturday night I stayed up watching him play his guitar and read children’s books aloud, thinking to myself, “What have I become?”

That’s how I read it too.

Right?! She doubled down and rode that thing til the bitter end. “Tom is the love of my liiiiiiiife. He made out with who last night? There’s photographic evidence? That’s okay, we’re in LOVE.”

I’ve got to give her credit for not letting pride stop her from ending it.

Loved this! You totally put me there with your writing. Also, I lived in a similar neighborhood in LA a few years back. This reminded me of the day I took my little guys to the park and there was a man playing music for the kids. I was pushing one of the boys on the swings and when I turned around and looked back, the

The car scene just, oh man...that whole sequence, the next morning too. It just knocked the wind out of me. I haven’t felt shock at a scene like that in a long time.

I’ve been there, and all I want to say is life can get better. It did for me, against ALL odds.
