Or what women see in Noah.

Tents and candles too way longer than 2 hours, the staging, designing, and execution took weeks and several people were employed.

A 20-minute drive at night when there is no traffic can take 1 to 1 1/2 hours between 7 am and 7 pm, every year or so the travel times go up by about 15 minutes. LA traffic a formidable.

Smart people are racists too. They just hide it better.

That was insane. I still cannot quite believe it happened.

It will be the greatest binge watch ever. Jealous.

That was exhausting and I could not get past 15.

The Democrats need to leave POC alone and put their time and energy into educating white people. That is where they are failing.

I agree I have come to think of it as a curse, not the empowerment it is intended to be. Somehow even thinking about it that way makes me a failure as a black girl/woman and saying it out loud is a form of blasphemy.

Don’t count on it, they have Stockholm syndrome. The only way they understand their self-worth is through the eyes of their oppressor. The election of 2016 confirmed it. I don’t expect white women to do anything but tow the party line, as usual. The only defiance they ever show is when using black bodies as shields.

Every single day my resentment towards white women grows. They gave us Trump! They need to fix their shit and leave us out of it, we are neither the problem or the solution. This is not our mess.

The point was simply that escaping oppression is no simple feat. It is not neat and clean the way entertainment usually portrays it. Slavery was just one of many examples chosen for its connection to American history, but there are many, many other examples that could be used...crossing the border from Mexico also

Yes, it is exhausting, but....Imagine what it was like for slaves.

“But we’re not all rich. We’re not all doing great. We’re not all paid, we’re not all protected, we’re not all anything. White people are as diverse in circumstance as there are different kinds of ash. That’s what’s unsettling about this, and about your comment.”

I doubt the teacher knew anything about the basketball player either. It was straight-up racism, the tall black kid should read about basketball. This is a very normal regular story that lots of parents of black children can tell in some form or another other. It is part of our society, it is totally wrong but not

Thanks for getting back to me, greatly appreciated. I would like to take you up on your offer in the near future.

...relieved when Anton shut him down. Yes I was too.

The intelligence of young black men is often underestimated, it is just part of our ingrained racism. When it comes to ideas of social politics this group is especially underrated. My black son was given the assignment to pick a book about a historical figure and do a report when he was about 13. He wanted to read

I am furious that he compared 30 years of Carter’s post office influence to 18 months of Obama’s. It will take 30 years to make an accurate comparison of the two.

Comparing Obama’s first 1.5 years out of office to Carter’s 30 is absurd, what a waste of time.
