Not only does it suck, I find it completely untrue all the Asian American women I know are total ass kickers.

Please note this shift happened to all nerds not just black nerds. I think it came about as a result of silicon valley, nerds became cool and rich sometimes very rich.

I misunderstood....thanks for clarifying.

I have no idea how either of my comments contradict your post or make me racist. Did you misread my words? Respond to the wrong person? Do you want to clarify? As I am the last person to coddle white people.

I would imagine most people who voted for Trump didn’t vote for him because he’s racist. The voted for him because they didn’t care that he’s racist.

Black Americans cannot legal shot and kill White Americans, but White Americans can get away with murdering black people, and have done since the beginning of the society. This is just one example of the harm that Black Americans are talking about. All people regardless of race have the capacity to inflict harm.

I was wondering the same thing.

I am a single mom and society regularly confronted me with these ideas while I was raising my son, especially when he was little. Doctors, schools, nuclear families were always questioning my fitness as a single working parent.

I did not get it, I mean it was an OK movie, but I thought Sam Rockwell’s performance was mediocre at best and that the script with regards to his character very unresolved. I really don’t understand how he even got nominated. Frances McDormand as always was wonderful, but she would be wonderful reading a shopping

I am an African American woman living in Melbourne at I can totally agree with your post.

My mother is black, she married my white dad in 1960, she also does not talk about it. I do get the feeling that there is alot of trauma connected to her experiences as an interracial couple and a fair amount of guilt about what it meant to my brother and I. Yes, these early couples have not been given a voice it must

I too am mixed race, black mother. I have lived both in white spaces, black spaces and also internationally so I have seen the way several environments handle this phenomenon. I like the fact that white people don’t completely baffle me, it helps defiantly an advantage......but I never ever feel safe in white spaces.

I have absolutely no idea what is on this show anymore and cannot recall the last time I did.

Laughed out loud on the train while reading this.

I think it might actually be easier to be blasphemous.

All my life I have had that opinion about the Beatles. The few times I have said it out loud I have been ostracized. I had to move out of a loft share once because they played the Beatles constantly. Hearing Quincy echo these sentiments is having a profound effect on me. I am not crazy or strange, “They were the worst

Mandy Moore is killing it.
