Did anyone else want Clark Andrew’s story to be made into a movie with Sam Elliot as the Bounty Hunter mentor?

I saw two motorcyclists doing this crap a few years ago. Weaving in and out of traffic, going about 90 in a 55. They passed me and about 10 miles away I came to a sudden stop where one of the motorcyclists had wrecked super badly. It was pretty horrific.
