Oh the lack of editing power. *How do you see that paragraph is inaccurate based on these quotes?

Did you read the article? His exact quote:

“I’m happy the #MeToo movement has slowed down a little bit. It used to be, “One hundred women can’t be lying.” And then it became, “One woman can’t lie.” And that became, “I believe all women.” And then you’re like, “What?” Like, that Chris Hardwick guy I really thought got

Seriously? It takes an average of 8 women saying they were abused for change to be made. You really think they were ever going to find him guilty of repeated abuse from years ago, against a single partner? Louis CK was openly accused by 5 and is being welcomed back after less than a year.

I think the most accurate comparison would be an anthology or art exhibit. They don’t often have a hand in how it’s created but it is definitely curated. They pick very specific films to distribute. It’s not outlandish to think they work off of specific principles or themes when deciding whether to distribute

Nothing in either of their statements implies this. He doesn’t even deny the emotional abuse, just that he didn’t assault her and he broke up with her. Qualifying what you’re saying by “I have no horse in this race” doesn’t soften them impact of trying to discount her claims. You’re gaslighting her.

He strangled her to the point of passing out. That’s attempted murder. And happened 3 years ago. He was in jail for 15 days. Do you honestly think that is enough time to atone for almost killing someone? We should forgive him because he’s only known to have done it once? No. He doesn’t get to go back to being famous

They are absolutely waitstaff and paid a little over $2 an hour in most places.

As opposed to.... all the kids? that write, direct, produce tv?

I know I’m going to regret this but I am curious, what would be proof of discrimination to you?

I know this was 3 years ago but I seriously can’t get over Art Crawl being listed the best Bob’s Burgers episode. Art Crawl? **Art Crawl**?? I don’t even think it would make my top 5 of Season 1 by itself let alone best ep out of the first 4 and a half seasons.

Please keep writing stuff like this.

I mean... what is any adult cartoon (Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Archer, etc.), procedural drama (CSI, Hawaii Five-O, Law & Order, etc.), or prime time sitcom (Mom, Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine Nine, etc.)? There are plenty of shows that are still fully understandable without the entire mythology. Even Doctor Who

Adaptions are far better when the two are meant as companion pieces instead of the same thing in different mediums. Hunger Games, for example, offers the internal emotional struggle of mental illness in the books while allowing for external action and the environment itself to play at the forefront of the movies.

Progress takes time. We’re not at a place where POC are represented in most facets of a TV show, even as we slowly claw our way towards it. Does that mean, in the mean time, that we just don’t tell stories about POC at all? Is that better? The article discusses how these shows ignore race and also how they shouldn’t
