I finally got a pic of her with the fish kick toy, she originally came for the scratching post and she came back again for the cardboard cafe.

That happened to me too, took me two weeks to get her back and get a pic of her.
I only have one more cat to complete my catbook! Also, I sent out a group txt to all my coworkers when I got peaches and I am not ashamed. I AM NOT ASHAMED OK, FLO AND CHARLIE?!!!
Rescued animals are just as trainable as captive bred. And as I stated before, I see no harm in training animals, even for shows. You can’t make an orca jump if it doesn’t want to. All of these facilities use positive reinforcement/operant condition training. It is an excellent, non coercive training method, and all…
Ok? That would be like 30 years in the future. While still providing excellent care to the existing whales. And I don’t see why sea world itself would need to shut down; they have other exhibits/attractions. Because I know you’re going to be obtuse about this as well, I don't believe any cetaceans should be bred in…
I have said repeatedly that I believe the breeding program should stop. You need to read more carefully. I am very obviously talking about the fact that the very large majority of people who want sea world shut down do not think about the continuing care of the existing whales, or the fact that they CANNOT be released…
You obviously didn’t read through these comments. The orcas in the U.S. are NOT, let me repeat NOT, releasable. So what do you do with them? Breeding programs should stop. But the orcas that are here require huge amounts of money for tank upkeep, skilled trainers/vets/other animal management people, and food, just to…
I fully support ending the breeding programs.
I want to star this a million times. No one ever thinks about where these animals will go/who will pay for their care if sea world closes.
I understand what you are saying; I think what a lot of people do not know is a lot of (not all, but many) zoos are home to animals that are rescues - whether they were wild born and were injured and cannot survive without being in captivity or stupid people’s “pets” that are, by any measure, much better off at a zoo.…
They are SO sturdy! Charlie got run over at 8 months (a gator went right over her mid section) with no injuries - none! And then 4 months later she ate a whole bottle of meloxicam, the vets were expecting her liver to shut down because of that, but she made a full recovery! I had pet insurance for those incidents…
It's so weird there's so many jezzies who have ties there! It's such an out of the way place, I usually have to explain where it is even to people who grew up in Ann Arbor or Lansing, even though it's less than an hour from both
I was not allowed to drive on race weekend Sunday's, which was a real bummer to 16-18 yo me, but probably a good decision of my moms. So. Many. Drunks.
OMYGOSH. I grew up in Brooklyn! I might know you! My family no longer lives there but that was my home for the first 22 years of my life. I went to Columbia, not sure if you might have gone there or Onsted. And I totally concur on the race weekend thing, i don't remember seeing that flag much besides race weekends but…
There are usually low-cost vet clinics in cities...you can probably call a vet and explain that you do not have a lot of money, they may be able to do a payment plan. There is also a thing in my area called “care credit” which is a short term loan-usually used for emergencies, and it seems to usually have decent…
