I used to watch the odd rerun now and then, and I never got the sense that these guys were represent nerds in general, they’re exaggerated stereotypes of certain kinds of nerds. Take Sheldon, his gimmick isn’t that he’s a nerd so much that he’s excessively selfish and doesn’t understand taking other people’s feelings

I’ve been waiting so long for something like this! It’s such a pain finding the right screencap to react to things!

Simpsons search engine?

Just thought I would increase the quality of discourse here...

I just used one word, “cold”, in my search and a bunch of images came up. All searches beyond that have been really slow.

(Though, not to alarm anyone...but the search now appears to be down. Perhaps server overload?)

Every. Fucking. Time.

Phrasing!

The monster in ‘Arcadia’ may have been silly, but that episode remains among my top favorites for the performances by Anderson and Duchovny. It might be one of the funniest (and funnest) episodes of the X-Files.

True, but had they taken TFA to all new directions, everyone would have screamed that JJ did not “get” Star Wars and was ruining it. Much like the prequels (although I feel the criticism of the prequels was very justified)

Surprised no ones done a Batman story where he travels back in time to kill his own parents to ensure he becomes Batman.

Until Geoff Johns’ fucked up need to make everybody Batman, Barry Allen had two loving parents all his life.

If you don’t look at it like a god damned monster movie and look at it for what it is, a survival movie, then it’s actually brilliant.

You are not alone.

I’m with you. I quite liked the movie. My favourite died horribly because, well, you know. Anyway, proud Cloverfield fan, here!

The bootleg trailer that’s now on YouTube looks awesome. John Goodman as a crazed doomsday prepper keeping people in a bunker? Sold.

I love this.
