I was watching "Serenity" with my girlfriend the other day, and when they flew into Reaver space I looked at her and went "Wait, if all Reavers do is rage and cannibalize, how the hell do they manage to get their s*** together to keep a running space fleet active?" to which she replied "I KNOW, RIGHT?" Thoughts?

After talking with my work chums we've concluded she might've been proper, but she didn't have an English accent. And she probably became less proper in speech because she hung around with a farmboy and a scoundrel for years afterwards, as well as a rebellion's worth of non-proper soldiers in the trenches.

It was sad they didn't go anywhere together, but it's far from tragic in that she died with a smile on her face and he learned in the end that's all she really wanted.

Well she didn't know her dad was *SPOILERS! (lol)* Vader til the middle of ROTJ, so we don't really know how much she dwells on it afterwards. And she didn't fall in love with Luke, she just loved him as a friend and kissed him that one time to make Han jealous. As for Alderaan and Jabba—not backstory, just story.

Admittedly he didn't really have a tragic backstory, just a tragic future...AGH, HERE COMES THE SADNESS! (T_T)

First of—"Lifeguard is actually Slipstream’s brother, which is an immediate point against her."? Is that a misprint or is the character transgender?

Probably thought better to live in the virtual world then die trying to get out by being a warrior.

I think they one you're referring to also had Jack Ryan and Sarah Conner. And James Bond as a rogue agent the League needs to hunt down?

If we're talking zombies from a virus Sherlock would be great to help figure out the cause. However, if we're talking about Romero-esque zombies that are just rising for no apparent reason, Sherlock could be a hinderance because he'd just be obsessed trying to find a rational explanation when there probably isn't one

Mentioned in another post, but Moore's LOEG does not only refer to literary characters, but ALL of fiction. There have been references to Doctor Who, LOST, 24, and even Heroes!

Moore already included a "Bond" character they only called "Jimmy" in LOEG: Black Dossier. He was—not a nice guy, but supposedly more accurate to the book.

SPOILERS FOR "LOEG: 2009"—

CHERNABOG! Seriously, Disney, make an epic fantasy story with this guy as the big bad ala "Kingdom Hearts" NOW!

GERONIMO!

HAAAAAVE you met Barney? Oh wait, yes you have.

Are you trying to suggest Earth is the ONLY planet that could have ancient civilizations with treasures worth searching for?

OMG me and my friends used to draw fights like this all the time in high school! Thanks for the memories.

This short has me wanting a sci-fi/futuristic "Tomb Raider" series.

There used to be...
