I have a BRZ and they have also been known to be super picky about gas, mainly from their high compression from the factory and extremely tight timing. I have a mental list of crap stations too.

Got gas one time at a station and it was so bad, I couldn’t even get the car to start (really common side effect for 87 in a

They have, I’ve seen a number of different HP, and Asus laptops with them.

I’ve had this brand before, they are very very thin. I wouldn’t recommend using them on a car, or anything that has a high shine finish you want to keep unscratched.

Actually, it would be illegal in single party states too. The guy who owns the vehicle/camera isn’t with them and isn’t part of the conversation so he is not a party. Both parties are employees of the dealership, neither of which gave consent.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was still legal in some states since it is

They just connect one ear bud to the other, they are wireless to the phone.

They will cost $159, which is pretty reasonable as far as wireless headphones go.

Nexus 5x, Nexus 6p, Sony Z5 (the whole line), etc.

A reddit user overlaid the footage from the escape pod test onto the explosion. Looks like it would have been fine.

I haven’t seen benchmarks yet, but if it is anything like the past 5 years or so of Intel releases, it will be minor. Expect to see a roughly 5-10% performance boost.

At this point, Intel is just putting out minimal increases because they have no competition. It wouldn’t make sense for them to put out something

They’ve been rolling it out in stages over the course of a couple weeks. You should see it soon.

The BRZ manual actually states minor knock can occur with 91 octane, not sure if the FRS one says that our not, never looked at any of my friends. My guess is you are either at a higher altitude where you don’t experience it, or you’ve never had something plugged in to detect the minor knock that does happen. It’s am

It typically depends on altitude. Higher altitudes don’t need as high octane of fuel in most typical situations. I’m only about 1000ft above sea level.

That’s gotta be really annoying. Having to go through customs and have a passport just to leave town.

You’d be looking for an optical network terminal. There are definitely options out there, but you need to talk to your ISP about what they support, it’s normally a much more limited list compared to how wide cable modem support is. They might only support a couple different models.

Honestly, it’s a far better car than anything else I’ve ever owned, and I knew about it being picky with fuel before I bought so it isn’t really punishment. Way better then the POS domestic vehicles I’ve owned and worked on in just about every way, reliability, accessibility to work on it, and performance/fun of

It’s a commonly known issue with the BRZ engine. At most altitudes they simply will not run on 89, this is easily googleable information. Heck I even personally know roughly 30 owners in the area and they all report the exact same.

I don’t believe that’s the case with the 86's. The only people I’ve seen that reliably run lower octanes are at considerably higher altitudes than I am. All the owners here have issues with 91, and I know for a fact some have run long term and they never got better until they remapped manually.

Yeah, I live in the plains of Ohio which really isn’t all that high above sea level, roughly 1000 ft. 93 is available almost everywhere here, if it isn’t 92 is. at 91 I start to get knock here and this seems to echo the experiences of about 25 other owners in our group. Some guys have re-tuned for 91 and it runs fine

Actually they are all that way, it’s a well known issue that the BRZ/FR-S are extremely picky about their gas. Heck it literally says in the manual that it won’t run with gas under 91 and that some knock is expected at 91. I’m in part of a BRZ/FR-S group and literally every single person who owns one has had these

The computer can, but I know I get some knock in mine at 91. If I understand, elevation (aka air density) can affect this too, so it may be different levels of knock at different places.
